Ruby Storm wants to chain cheap rituals and cantrips (Desperate Ritual, Pyretic Ritual, Manamorphose) into a lethal Grapeshot or Past in Flames turn. Damping Sphere is devastating here, taxing every spell after their first each turn and completely breaking their storm math. Surgical Extraction can strip a key piece like Past in Flames or Grapeshot from their hand and graveyard once they discard or cast one, denying their combo outlet. Fatal Push and Mishra's Bauble do little against a deck with almost no relevant creatures, so trim them for proactive hate; keep Thoughtseize and Inquisition of Kozilek at full count to strip their combo pieces before they go off.
