Goryo's Vengeance wants to discard Griselbrand or Atraxa and reanimate it with Goryo's Vengeance for a temporary but game-ending haste attack, so Grafdigger's Cage completely shuts off that plan by preventing creature cards from entering the battlefield from the graveyard. Surgical Extraction can strip a discarded Griselbrand or Atraxa from their graveyard (and hand/library copies) before they combo off. Vexing Bauble answers their Force of Negation when cast for free by exiling a blue card, and can counter free Solitude/Endurance evokes as well. Unholy Heat and Herigast, Erupting Nullkite come out since removing small creatures is not the priority against a combo-focused list, and Herigast's emerge cost is often too slow to matter before they combo off.
