Izzet Prowess relies heavily on Cori-Steel Cutter and Mishra's Bauble, so Wear // Tear comes in to destroy those artifacts for cheap with the Wear half; the Tear half has no targets here since they have no enchantments. Brotherhood's End is a flexible sweeper: choose the first mode to deal 3 damage to each creature, which sweeps Dragon's Rage Channeler, Monastery Swiftspear, and Slickshot Show-Off (watch for pump in response, and note it also kills our own Ral, Monsoon Mage), or choose the second mode to destroy all artifacts with mana value 3 or less, which hits Cori-Steel Cutter and Mishra's Bauble. It can only do one of these per cast. Grapeshot adds another cheap way to pick off Dragon's Rage Channeler or close the game once Past in Flames or storm count gets going. Wish and the clunkier draw-smoothing pieces come out since this matchup is a race where efficient removal and sweepers matter more than card selection, and we keep all core ritual engine pieces intact to maximize our own speed.
