Grixis Reanimator uses Thoughtseize, which targets you, so a proactive Veil of Summer can outright blank it by giving you hexproof from black while also drawing a card if they've cast a blue spell like Thought Scour that turn. Into the Flood Maw is excellent at bouncing Abhorrent Oculus or a freshly reanimated Archon of Cruelty before it can trigger again, buying a full turn back. Cut Xenagos, Wistfulness, and one Generous Ent since they're too slow against a deck that can reanimate Archon of Cruelty as early as turn 2-3. Keep Consign to Memory in to strip Unearth-fueled value off resolving triggered abilities where applicable.
