Mono-Green Eldrazi is a slow value/ramp deck with almost no interaction before turn 4-5, so our priority is simply resolving our combo before Emrakul, the Promised End or Devourer of Destiny take over the game. Veil of Summer is already in our main deck, and its hexproof from black matters here because their Dismember is a black spell. Cast in response to Dismember, it makes the removal fizzle and also draws us a card. Beyond Dismember they cast almost no blue or black spells, so outside that case the draw rarely triggers and Veil is mainly a narrow protection piece. Nature's Claim comes in as cheap interaction against their artifacts and enchantments. It can destroy Urza's Saga directly, since the Saga is an Enchantment Land, and it also hits Construct tokens, Blade of the Bloodchief, Haywire Mite, and their mana rocks like Springleaf Drum and Talisman of Resilience. The cost is that they gain 4 life, which rarely matters in this matchup. We avoid bringing in Mystical Dispute since they run no blue spells, and this matchup mostly comes down to execution speed rather than disruption, so core engine pieces stay untouched. The two Disciple of Freyalise are the cuts because they are the least necessary pieces for racing their ramp plan, and the two Nature's Claim give us real answers to their Saga and equipment.
