Ruby Storm is a pure combo deck trying to assemble Past in Flames/Grapeshot, so this is a race where our interaction needs to be aimed at stopping their kill rather than protecting board presence. Mystical Dispute is strong against their blue spells they might sideboard in, but more importantly the extra Pact of Negation gives us another way to counter their key combo spell like Past in Flames or Grapeshot on the spot. Dismember can kill Ral, Monsoon Mage to slow their mana engine. Veil of Summer and Nature's Claim are largely dead since they're mono-red with no relevant artifacts/enchantments and we need to prioritize racing/disruption over protection here.
