Mono-Green Eldrazi is another Eldrazi Temple / Ugin's Labyrinth big-mana deck, so Damping Sphere again shuts off their extra mana from those lands and taxes turns where they chain Malevolent Rumble into a big threat. Molten Rain punishes their nonbasic-heavy manabase, denying mana and chipping in 2 damage. Eidolon of the Great Revel deals 2 damage to them when they cast cheap spells (Malevolent Rumble selection, low-X Green Sun's Zenith spells), but their high-cost threats bypass it while it damages us, so it goes to the sideboard. This matchup is still a race — Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger and Emrakul, the Promised End close the game if you stall, so keep the foot on the gas.
