Boros Energy is extremely fast and disruptive, with Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer applying early pressure and Thraben Charm/Blood Moon threatening our manabase and enchantments. Veil of Summer isn't a great fit here since it only grants hexproof from blue and black and only draws a card off a blue or black spell, neither of which this matchup provides, so we're leaving it home. Unholy Heat cheaply answers Ragavan, Ocelot Pride, and Guide of Souls before they snowball into card/energy advantage. We're not bringing in graveyard hate since they have no real graveyard plan, trimming Tormod's Crypt along with slower utility pieces that don't affect the race.
