4c HollowOne fills its graveyard fast with Faithless Looting and Burning Inquiry to cheat out Hollow One and recur Vengevine, so Surgical Extraction can strip a Hollow One or Vengevine from graveyard, hand, and library simultaneously once in the graveyard, denying their cheap threat and recursion plan. Extra Inquisition of Kozilek proactively strips their discard outlets or threats before they can enable a big turn. Force of Despair is weak since Hollow One and Vengevine typically enter on different turns rather than entering together, and March of Wretched Sorrow's X-cost removal is often too slow against a deck that dumps its hand and attacks quickly; our Fatal Push and Thoughtseize remain core answers here.
