Izzet Prowess wants to go under us with cheap threats and burn us out, so Inquisition of Kozilek is excellent at stripping their early Monastery Swiftspear/Dragon's Rage Channeler or a key spell before it can snowball. Dauthi Voidwalker provides an unblockable clock they struggle to interact with and denies them graveyard value off Lava Dart flashback. Surgical Extraction can proactively remove a Lightning Bolt or Monastery Swiftspear to dull their plan. Fell the Profane's land mode is fine but the instant mode is often too slow against their low-toughness threats that die to cheaper removal, and Witherbloom Charm's sac mode is clunky against a deck with few expendable permanents, so trim these in favor of discard and graveyard disruption.
