Jeskai Energy is another go-wide aggressive deck centered on Ocelot Pride, Guide of Souls, and Ajani, Nacatl Pariah token generation, so Culling Ritual is excellent at wiping their cheap enablers and tokens in one sweep while accelerating our own development. Inquisition of Kozilek strips a key threat like Ragavan or Ajani before it snowballs, and Sheoldred's Edict can answer a resolved planeswalker or problematic token they can't protect. Force of Despair is too narrow since their threats enter across many turns rather than all at once, so it comes out; Witherbloom Charm's sacrifice mode is weak with little sac fodder against their fast, wide board, favoring the sweeper and discard instead.
