Inquisition of Kozilek strips Neoform, Summoner's Pact, or Eldritch Evolution before they can chain into their combo, and it's safer than Thoughtseize against their own discard-light plan while dodging Consign to Memory since it is a black spell, not a colorless one. Surgical Extraction can proactively remove a copy of a key combo piece like Neoform once it hits the yard, and Sheoldred's Edict answers a resolved Atraxa or Griselbrand when Fatal Push can't. Force of Despair often whiffs since their big finishers (Atraxa, Griselbrand) matter well past the turn they enter, and March of Wretched Sorrow's low-end damage modes are too slow against a deck that can kill from nowhere.
