Toxic Deluge is a powerful sweeper against their small mana-dork combo pieces like Delighted Halfling, Devoted Druid, Badgermole Cub, and Birds of Paradise, disrupting the Devoted Druid/Vizier of Remedies infinite mana engine by removing the druid before it goes off. Consign to Memory can counter Green Sun's Zenith's is not legal since that spell is colored, but it does stop colorless triggered abilities and any colorless spells they might play, and importantly can counter their Walking Ballista if sideboarded in. Erayo and Basim are too small and easily brushed aside by their ramp into Craterhoof Behemoth or a big Nature's Rhythm target, so we prioritize a sweeper and flexible interaction instead.
