Consign to Memory is excellent here, countering colorless spells like Devourer of Destiny, Emrakul, Ulamog, Warping Wail, and Kozilek's Command itself. Force of Negation stops Karn, the Great Creator or Ugin, Eye of the Storms for free on their turn before those planeswalkers lock out our artifacts or exile our permanents. Pithing Needle can shut down Karn's loyalty abilities or Expedition Map's activated ability. Erayo and Basim are too fragile against their removal suite (Dismember, Kozilek's Command) and don't progress our gameplan against such a grindy, high-toughness deck, so they're cut for disruption.
