Eldrazi Ramp uses Utopia Sprawl, Talisman of Impulse, and Sowing Mycospawn to accelerate into enormous threats like Emrakul, the Promised End and World Breaker, backed by Kozilek's Return as a sweeper against your small creatures. Meltdown at X=1 or X=2 destroys their mana accelerants — Talisman of Impulse and Springleaf Drum effects — buying you several turns before they can cast their top-end spells. Boomerang Basics can bounce an Eldrazi Temple or enchanted Forest in the early turns to meaningfully set back their mana development, particularly before Utopia Sprawl comes online. Abandon Attachments provides backup interaction for a Talisman or other accelerant when Meltdown is not available. Academic Dispute is essentially dead here because the opponent does not rely on combat for their win condition, and your primary goal is to deal 20 damage with haste creatures and burn before they land an Emrakul or World Breaker that ends the game.
