Affinity's board is almost entirely colorless artifacts and artifact creatures, making Consign to Memory a premium answer to Kappa Cannoneer's triggered +1/+1 counter ability being irrelevant, but critically it counters colorless spells outright, denying Pinnacle Emissary, Mishra's Bauble, or a freshly-cast Kappa Cannoneer itself. Wrath of the Skies scales to sweep their swarm of Drone tokens and small artifact creatures once you've built up energy. Teferi's bounce is a poor rate against a deck that rebuilds its board for one mana at a time, so it and excess lands are cut for interaction; hold Fatal Push for Kappa Cannoneer before its ward makes it untouchable.
