Dimir Midrange is a grindy mirror-like matchup full of efficient interaction such as Counterspell, Force of Negation, and Fatal Push, plus card advantage engines like Psychic Frog and Orcish Bowmasters. Consign to Memory is valuable for countering their triggered abilities off Orcish Bowmasters and Psychic Frog, and any colorless spells that slip through. Wrath of the Skies can two-for-one their cheap permanents like Orcish Bowmasters, Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student, and Psychic Frog before it grows large, though timing it well is key. Ephemerate and Heartless Summoning contribute less in this attrition-based mirror where efficient interaction and card advantage matter more than blink value or cost reduction.
