Grixis Reanimator wants to fill the graveyard with Faithless Looting and Thought Scour before reanimating Archon of Cruelty or Emperor of Bones with Unearth or Persist, so Nihil Spellbomb is a critical answer, exiling their graveyard before the reanimation spell resolves. Celestial Purge cleanly exiles their black creatures like Psychic Frog or a reanimated Archon of Cruelty. Consign to Memory counters Abhorrent Oculus's manifest dread trigger each upkeep and any colorless permanents they bring in. Thoughtseize is cut since discarding one piece rarely stops their redundant reanimation targets, and the extra Consign to Memory copy is trimmed since graveyard disruption is more proactive against this deck's core plan.
