Emperor of Bones supplies graveyard exile to blunt their Malevolent Rumble and Green Sun's Zenith value engines while adding a recursive threat of your own. Teferi's -3 rarely has a good target against a deck of large green creatures that dwarf what you can profitably bounce, so it and some lands come out for interaction; save Solitude and Fatal Push to answer Disciple of Freyalise or Fanatic of Rhonas before their mana engine snowballs into Emrakul or Ulamog.
