Gaddock Teeg is very strong here, shutting off Supreme Verdict, Wrath of the Skies, and any other spell with X in its cost, along with other noncreature spells of mana value 4 or greater like Jace, the Mind Sculptor. It is also a creature your Chord of Calling can tutor for. Teeg does not stop Day's Undoing, which is mana value 3 with no X. Thoughtseize lets you strip their Solitude, Orim's Chant, or a sweeper before they can use it proactively, since this matchup is largely about resolving your threats under their disruption. Prismatic Ending can answer Teferi, Time Raveler or Narset, Parter of Veils, but only if you spend three colors of mana on it, and it can't be cast while Teeg is on the battlefield because of the X in its cost. Goblin Bombardment and extra undying bodies matter less against a control deck with few creatures to sacrifice into or race against.
