Its hexproof protects only you, not your permanents, but it also prevents all noncombat damage to your other creatures, so Yawgmoth and other creatures are safe from burn like Lightning Bolt and Lava Dart. It can't block flyers, so it won't stop a flying Slickshot Show-Off or a Dragon's Rage Channeler with delirium. Thoughtseize can proactively take a key piece like Cori-Steel Cutter or a burn spell before it resolves. Goblin Bombardment isn't impactful since they're not relying on a go-wide board you need to punish, and you'd rather hold blockers than sacrifice creatures against their aggressive, burn-heavy gameplan. Prioritize stabilizing the board since Prowess decks fold once they run out of gas.
