Bogles relies on stacking Auras like Ethereal Armor, Rancor, and Armadillo Cloak onto a single hexproof threat such as Slippery Bogle or Gladecover Scout, so targeted removal is often dead. Dust to Dust stays in the sideboard because Bogles plays no artifacts, so it would have no legal targets. Arms of Hadar is the real star, since it can kill an unenchanted Slippery Bogle, Gladecover Scout, or Silhana Ledgewalker (all small-toughness hexproof creatures) before they accumulate Auras, bypassing hexproof since it targets the player, not the creature. Tithing Blade also gets around hexproof because it makes the opponent sacrifice a creature of their choice, and it is best when they only have one creature. Duress lets you strip an Aura or a Ram Through from their hand before it can be used, since it only takes noncreature, nonland cards. Blood Fountain, Nihil Spellbomb, and a Reckoner's Bargain are cut since they do nothing to stop the hexproof threat and this matchup is about racing or sweeping before the Auras pile on.
