Ancient Grudge is excellent against Bonder's Ornament and Colossal Dreadmask, two artifacts that can generate long-term card or combat advantage for Ponza, and its Flashback for {G} means one copy can answer two problem artifacts across a game. Talons of Wildwood is a slow way to spend mana in a matchup where the opponent's ground creatures like Avenging Hunter and Annoyed Altisaur are already bigger, so it comes out to make room. Keep Malevolent Rumble and Writhing Chrysalis in as they still generate value and blockers against Ponza's land-destruction plan. Prioritize racing before Mwonvuli Acid-Moss and Thermokarst cripple your mana, since this matchup rewards proactive plays over grinding.
