This is a blue mirror where both decks are trying to establish card advantage and counter the opponent's key threats. Their win conditions are Tolarian Terror, Cryptic Serpent, and Delver of Secrets — all of which your Snuff Out and Cast Down can answer at instant speed, making removal highly efficient here. Murmuring Mystic comes in as a threat that generates blockers against their evasive creatures and dodges their counterspells if resolved. Abandon Attachments is dead in this matchup with no relevant enchantments or artifacts on their side, and Spell Pierce loses value in the late game when both players have mana to spare. Focus on trading counters efficiently and resolving a Gurmag Angler or Ninja of the Deep Hours while keeping their graveyard creatures in check.
