Nihil Spellbomb denies Eviscerator's Insight flashback recursion and can proactively exile a graveyard before they sacrifice fodder into it. Thorn of the Black Rose's deathtouch trades up against Avenging Hunter while making us the monarch for extra card advantage in this grindy black mirror-ish matchup. Spell Pierce is weak against a deck full of cheap, resilient value spells they're happy to play around, and Plunder the Trollshaws is too slow given how quickly they generate card advantage through sacrifice synergies. Cast Down remains strong against their small, efficient black creatures like Accursed Marauder and Crypt Rats, while Snuff Out cannot target their black creatures and Abandon Attachments provides card filtering rather than removal.
