Nihil Spellbomb exiles a graveyard, which disrupts their Dread Return (including its sacrifice-three-creatures flashback) and shrinks graveyard payoffs like Lotleth Giant's undergrowth, while still cantripping for a card with {B} available. Giant's Boulder is too slow and doesn't interact with their ramp-into-threats plan. Extract a Confession remains useful against their big threats: they choose what to sacrifice, but if you collect evidence they must sacrifice the creature with the greatest power, which will usually be Troll of Khazad-dum or Lotleth Giant. Prioritize Counterspell to stop their key enablers (Lead the Stampede, Winding Way) before they can flood the board. Dispel only counters instant spells, so it can't touch those sorceries and has few real targets in their list.
