Ruby Storm has no artifacts for Steel Sabotage and no red permanents worth Blue Elemental Blast beyond small creatures, so the sideboard offers little beyond extra counterspells; the second Negate comes in to stop Big Score, Electric Revelation, or a Seize the Storm finisher before it resolves. Prohibit already counters their cheap rituals like Desperate Ritual and Manamorphose at mana value 2 or less, which is crucial since countering one ritual can collapse their whole turn. Trim a Meeting of Minds since convoke is unreliable when our creatures need to stay up as blockers rather than tap out to cast a sorcery-speed draw spell. The game plan is to counter a key piece of their storm turn and then grind with Archaeomancer and Mulldrifter.
