Gruul Ramp uses mana dorks like Arbor Elf and enchantments like Wild Growth and Utopia Sprawl to ramp into large threats such as Primordial Pachyderm and Avenging Hunter; Troublemaker Ouphe can exile a key ramp enchantment when bargained, slowing their acceleration. Drown in Sorrow's -2/-2 cleanly answers Arbor Elf before they ramp out of range. Bojuka Bog does little since their engine is built on lands, enchantments, and ramp rather than the graveyard. Note Avenging Hunter and Boarding Party grant the initiative or come with haste, so prioritize removing ramp pieces early before they can deploy their bigger threats.
