Weather the Storm can gain 6 or more life in response to a chain of spells, completely negating their burst turns and buying you the time to deploy Crypt Rats or Troll of Khazad-dum. Drown in Sorrow sweeps their low-toughness creatures — Voldaren Epicure, Sneaky Snacker, and Kitchen Imp all die to it — dismantling their discard engine and preventing the madness chain from continuing. Your Nihil Spellbomb has minimal impact since they're primarily a direct-damage deck rather than a graveyard recursion deck. Play Cast Down and Defile to answer the Kitchen Imp and Sneaky Snacker that enable their discard outlets.
