Ruby Storm has almost no creatures worth killing, so Cast Down is largely dead and comes out; Campfire's slow lifegain doesn't matter if we're dead to a storm turn. Duress strips their key combo pieces like Big Score, Desperate Ritual, or Seething Song before they can chain a storm turn. Weather the Storm gains 3 life per spell cast that turn (via its own storm trigger), helping us survive a Seize the Storm-fueled alpha strike or burn finish.
