Mono Red Rally floods the board with cheap artifacts and creatures before a Rally at the Hornburg alpha strike, so Cast into the Fire's mode dealing 1 damage to each of up to two target creatures picks off X/1s like Voldaren Epicure, Clockwork Percussionist, Goblin Bushwhacker, Gingerbrute, or a pair of Human Soldier tokens before the critical mass assembles. Burning-Tree Emissary and Goblin Tomb Raider have 2 toughness and survive it, so don't count on it for those. Its artifact-exile mode can also remove a key Inventor's Axe or Great Furnace if needed. We're both aggro decks, so the plan is to keep our own clock intact while adding just enough cheap interaction to disrupt their go-wide plan. The core engine stays fully intact since racing is still our best line.
