Hydroblast is excellent here, countering or destroying their red spells and permanents like Guttersnipe and Kessig Flamebreather. Drown in Sorrow sweeps their X/1 and X/2 creatures (Voldaren Epicure, Guttersnipe, Sneaky Snacker) for -2/-2, though Kessig Flamebreather is a 1/3 and survives it. Relic of Progenitus exiles graveyards, which can strip their Faithless Looting flashback fuel, though it does nothing against madness since Fiery Temper is exiled when discarded. Spell Pierce is weak since they can often play around the extra two mana, and card draw like Plunder the Trollshaws is too slow against this fast clock.
