Ruby Storm is a pure combo deck looking to chain rituals and card draw into a lethal Electric Revelation or burn finish, so your removal is mostly dead and you need to focus on countermagic. Dispel is excellent here, cheaply protecting your own Counterspells or stopping a key instant like Desperate Ritual on the turn they go off. Annul can strip away Goblin Anarchomancer-enabled value or hit Treasure-adjacent artifacts, but note it only hits artifact/enchantment spells, so it whiffs on their core rituals and sorceries—board it in cautiously as a situational answer rather than a priority. Cut Cast Down and Thorn of the Black Rose since there's little relevant creature density to kill and you need every turn spent disrupting the combo, not developing a slow clock.
