Affinity's board is almost entirely artifacts and artifact creatures (Myr Enforcer, Refurbished Familiar, Novice Inspector's Clue tokens, Springleaf Drum, artifact lands), so Vandalblast overloaded for {4}{R} can blow up their whole nonland artifact board at once, and even the single-target mode kills a key artifact creature. Gorilla Shaman provides a cheap recurring artifact-destruction engine that scales with available mana across a long game. Cast into the Fire can exile a problematic artifact or ping down small 2-toughness creatures like Thraben Inspector or Novice Inspector with its two-damage mode spread across targets. Structural Distortion is replaced by Vandalblast's efficiency, and the ramp-focused Sagu Wildling/Bonder's Ornament are too slow against Affinity's fast curve.
