Golgari Gardens is a grindy artifact-value deck whose primary threats to our combo are targeted removal (Cast Down, Snuff Out) and sweepers (Crypt Rats, Suffocating Fumes) that can kill Tireless Tribe before we go off. We add the extra copies of Loran's Escape to protect Tireless Tribe from spot removal, and Prismatic Strands to blank Crypt Rats activations and Suffocating Fumes — both of which can wipe our board in a single turn. Thraben Charm comes in primarily to exile Nihil Spellbomb, which can erase our graveyard and shut off Pursue the Past recursion; the token mode is a fine fallback. Abandon Attachments and Sandstorm Eidolon have few relevant targets in this matchup and are the cleanest cuts, along with trimming one Sejiri Steppe (partially redundant with the extra Loran's Escapes) and one Lightning Bolt since Troll of Khazad-dum survives it and they gain life through Campfire and Lembas making burn-to-the-face a poor plan. Prioritize protecting a Tireless Tribe through their removal and assembling Inside Out before they stabilize behind a Troll.
