Jund Wildfire's two biggest threats to your gameplan are Krark-Clan Shaman, which can sacrifice a land to deal 1 damage to all non-flying creatures and wipe your entire board of Tireless Tribes and Sneaky Snackers, and Nihil Spellbomb, which exiles your graveyard and shuts off Pursue the Past recursion. Shenanigans and Thraben Charm come in to proactively destroy Nihil Spellbomb and Ichor Wellspring before they generate value, with Shenanigans being especially potent since its dredge ability lets you chain through multiple artifacts. The extra copies of Prismatic Strands are essential insurance — hold them up to blank Krark-Clan Shaman activations at the moment you're ready to combo off, protecting your Tireless Tribe long enough to win. Flaring Pain handles the post-board threat of Weather the Storm, which their deck can flash in to absorb lethal damage and negate your combo kill. Abandon Attachments, Escape Tunnel, and Sandstorm Eidolon come out as they have limited utility here — the opponent has no equipment or enchantments to target, and the extra protection spells replace the eidolons' damage-prevention role more efficiently.
