This is a mirror-like matchup against another artifact-synergy affinity deck, so Nihil Spellbomb's graveyard exile is low-impact against their plan of casting cheap affinity threats, and it's better used for the card draw on death than held up reactively; trim some copies for proactive disruption. Go for the Throat kills Myr Enforcer or Utrom Monitor cleanly since neither is an artifact creature waitβMyr Enforcer and Utrom Monitor ARE artifact creatures, so Go for the Throat cannot target them; only non-artifact creatures like Krark-Clan Shaman and Refurbished Familiar (also artifact, also illegal target) are hit, meaning Go for the Throat has very few legal targets in their list and should not be boarded in. Duress is the real upgrade, stripping Galvanic Blast or Reckoner's Bargain before it can be used as removal or value, and Cast Down remains our best removal since it is not restricted by artifact type. Keep the full core engine and race on card advantage, since both decks are trying to out-grind the other with the same shared engine pieces.
