Tron's ramp-dependent plan culminates in huge threats like Bramble Wurm and Maelstrom Colossus, so our best shot is to answer them cheaply once they land or race them down while they assemble lands. Tragic Slip is the key bring-in: our sacrifice outlets make morbid easy to turn on, and then a single black mana kills even a Bramble Wurm or Maelstrom Colossus, while the unenhanced -1/-1 is much weaker. Spinning Darkness can deal with midsized nonblack creatures like Rooftop Percher or a prototyped Boulderbranch Golem, potentially for no mana in the late game once enough black cards are in our graveyard, while gaining life. Drown in Sorrow stays in the sideboard because its -2/-2 would not kill any of their real creatures and would wipe out most of our own small ones. Rite of Consumption and Sadistic Glee are cut since this matchup is more about speed and disruption than grinding incremental value.
