Mono-Blue Terror's entire maindeck is blue, so Pyroblast and Red Elemental Blast are excellent here, countering Counterspell or Tolarian Terror/Cryptic Serpent on the stack, or destroying a resolved Delver of Secrets or Tolarian Terror outright. These swaps let us answer their big cost-reduced threats and protect our own burn spells from countermagic. Guttersnipe is the most cuttable core piece since the opponent's low curve and permission make it awkward to land profitably, but keep Kessig Flamebreather, Faithless Looting, Lava Dart, and the burn suite as the primary game plan. Sazacap's Brew and Highway Robbery come out since card parity matters less than tempo and tempo-breaking removal against this deck's fragile early threats.
