Caw Gates is a Gates deck with Journey to Nowhere removal and Prismatic Strands for damage prevention, and it features blue cards like Sneaky Snacker, so Red Elemental Blast is live to counter their blue spells or destroy their blue permanents. Relic of Progenitus is more useful as a cheap artifact enabling Galvanic Blast metalcraft while incidentally disrupting cards milled by Malevolent Rumble or Pursue the Past flashback value. Given Prismatic Strands can prevent all damage from one color, including a full turn of your attacks or burn, focus on going wide and applying pressure quickly with your core engine rather than relying on single big burn spells; trim Chain Lightning and Goblin Tomb Raider for artifact count and resilience. Consider this matchup close to a wash on sideboarding since little in your sideboard directly answers Journey to Nowhere or Prismatic Strands.
