Mono-Blue Terror wins by quickly reducing the cost of Tolarian Terror and Cryptic Serpent through cantrip-fueled graveyard filling, while Delver of Secrets applies early clock pressure backed by Counterspell and Deem Inferior. Nihil Spellbomb is your best tool here — it doubles as an artifact for your bounce engine and can be cracked at the right moment to reset their graveyard count, dramatically increasing the cost of their threats mid-combat or in response to a cast. Duress comes in to strip counterspells and Sleep of the Dead before you commit your bounce-engine pieces, giving your Glint Hawks and Kor Skyfishers room to operate safely. Suffocating Fumes is dead since their relevant threats are all flying or out of range, Mukotai Ambusher is too slow in this tempo race, and Oroku Saki's ninjutsu plan is hard to execute through their permission suite. Prioritize deploying threats on turns 1-2 before they stabilize with Murmuring Mystic, and hold Prismatic Strands to negate an alpha attack from their graveyard-powered beaters.
