Grixis Affinity floods the board fast with cheap artifact creatures like Myr Enforcer and Refurbished Familiar, so Duress can strip a key piece like Galvanic Blast or Reckoner's Bargain before they assemble their curve-out. Faerie Macabre blocks in the air against flyers like Refurbished Familiar, and discarding it can exile creature cards from their graveyard if they're leaning on recursion. We shave Repository Skaab and Architects of Will since this matchup is about racing and disruption, not incremental card selection against a deck that goldfishes extremely fast.
