Breath Weapon sweeps the early creature base of Kitchen Imps, Sneaky Snackers, and Voldaren Epicures that enable their madness chains, ideally before they've sacrificed them to the discard outlets. Your Skred and Lightning Bolt stabilize the board while Counterspell catches their key burn spells on the stack. Dispel, Bonder's Ornament, Late to Dinner, and Union of the Third Path are too slow or situational for a matchup where you can die on turn four.
