Caw Gates is a grindy Gate-lands deck with Journey to Nowhere removal and Prismatic Strands fog effects, plus small aggressive creatures like Sacred Cat and Outlaw Medic. Healer of the Glade's lifegain helps offset their incremental damage from Sacred Cat/Outlaw Medic and buys time for our engine to come online. Undergrowth Leopard can destroy an artifact like Melded Moxite before it generates value or a Robot token. Mesmeric Fiend is weaker here since they have plenty of redundant threats and removal to fall back on, and Lotus Petal is a low-impact card against their grindier gameplan, so both are trimmed.
