Mono-Blue Terror's entire maindeck is blue, making Red Elemental Blast excellent: it counters Counterspell or key threats on the stack, or destroys a resolved Delver of Secrets, Tolarian Terror, or Cryptic Serpent. Cast into the Fire's first mode picks off an early Delver of Secrets or Faerie Seer before it transforms or grows out of reach. Loran's Escape is weak since their removal suite is minimal, so protection matters less than proactive disruption, and Bitter Reunion is trimmed for the same reason.
