This matchup is a pure race against burn, so maximize Fog effects and life gain while adding cheap interaction that hits their red spells and permanents: Hydroblast and Blue Elemental Blast can counter or destroy Fiery Temper, Lightning Bolt, Kessig Flamebreather, and Guttersnipe outright. Faithless Looting can discard Fiery Temper to exile through madness, letting them cast it for {R}, so that burn never sits in the graveyard, and graveyard hate is too narrow here and stays out. Note that Sneaky Snacker is blue-black, so the red-only blasts can't answer it. Trim slower card draw (Stream of Thought, Embrace the Paradox, some Preordain) and the narrow Heritage Reclamation for the blasts, keeping every Fog, Moment's Peace, Tangle, and Weather the Storm in to buy time. Killing Guttersnipe or Kessig Flamebreather with a Blue Elemental Blast can single-handedly turn off their damage engine.
