Mono Red Rally wants to flood the board and alpha strike with Rally at the Hornburg, so Fog effects (Moment's Peace, Tangle, Fog) are excellent and should all stay in, while Faerie Macabre's discard ability can exile their Goblin Tomb Raider or Clockwork Percussionist from the graveyard, denying recursion value. Swapping an Island and Forest for Bojuka Bog and a second Desert gives you a way to shock an attacker in combat and strip their early graveyard, both relevant against a deck leaning on cheap bodies. Hydroblast and Blue Elemental Blast are tempting against their all-red deck but their key payoffs (Burning-Tree Emissary, Rally at the Hornburg, Clockwork Percussionist) are mostly creatures or sorceries that resolve before you can react meaningfully, so the swap favors durability and disruption over blasts. Trim excess card selection (Stream of Thought) since this matchup is about surviving the alpha strike, not grinding.
