Dust to Dust exiles two artifacts at once, which is huge value against a deck built around Melded Moxite, Lembas, Ragged Short Spear, and a heavy artifact-land manabase (Ancient Den, Great Furnace, Rustvale Bridge); note the Bridge lands are indestructible but Dust to Dust exiles rather than destroys, so it gets through. Relic of Progenitus also exiles graveyards to deny their Pursue the Past/Highway Robbery card advantage loops and strips their Sneaky Snacker's return trigger target pool indirectly by removing looted cards before they matter. Clowning Around and Guardians' Pledge are too slow against their efficient Dispatch/Galvanic Blast removal suite.
