Standard Bearer forces your opponent to redirect their tempo spells — Sleep of the Dead and Deem Inferior must target it rather than your key threats, buying your board time to develop. Thraben Charm gives you graveyard exile to keep Cryptic Serpent and Tolarian Terror expensive, and its damage mode can pick off a Delver of Secrets before it transforms. Sprouting Renewal can make a 2/2 body to keep pressure up. Since Tolarian Terror and Cryptic Serpent are creatures, not artifacts, your best plan is really just going wide and fast before Counterspell and Spell Pierce mana get online; the swap trims slower cards (Winding Way, Holdout Settlement) for more immediately impactful spells. Keep your aggressive curve intact since this matchup is won on the clock, not through interaction.
