Mono Red Madness is a fast, graveyard-fueled burn deck that wins by flooding the board with Kessig Flamebreather and Guttersnipe while pinging you with cheap spells and madness outlets. Breath Weapon is the key sideboard tool here, as it cleanly answers nearly every creature they run — Voldaren Epicure, Sneaky Snacker, Kessig Flamebreather, and Guttersnipe all have power 2 or less. Faerie Macabre disrupts their engine by exiling graveyards at instant speed, removing Lava Dart flashback targets and discards that fuel Fiery Temper madness through Faithless Looting. Guardian of the Guildpact is your best threat in this matchup since it has protection from monocolored and cannot be targeted by any of their burn spells — getting Armadillo Cloak onto it is often a lock. Gatecreeper Vine, Midnight Tilling, and some Malevolent Rumble come out as the slowest cards in a game where every turn matters.
